All operations of aquaculture production rely upon the 60% feed role as an energy source and nutrition for growth survival rate aquatic organisms, especially tilapia fish. This research aims to study feeding different food types fingerlings. A sample fingerlings was derived from Centre Aquaculture Production Business Service (BLUPPB) Karawang reared in Teaching Factory. The were stocked with many 5 ind/L three treatments i.e Azolla (P1), artificial (P2), a combination (P3). growth-based length fed by (P1) is 6 – 7.76 cm, commercial pellet (P2) 11.81 6-9.36 cm. weight 4 5.87 g, 25.11 11.27 g. 23%, 88%, 91%.Keywords: Azolla, feed, fingerlings, growth, rateAbstrakSeluruh operasional produksi akuakultur sangat bergantung dari peran pakan sebagai sumber nutrisi dan energi bagi pertumbuhan tingkat kelangsungan hidup organisme akuatik dalam hal ini ikan nila. Heterogeneous growth fingerlings of the Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus: effects of density and initial size variability.

In this study, the effect of initial heterogeneity of weight and density on heterogeneous growth (HetG) evaluated by the coefficient of the variation of weight in the young Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus of the territorial species was tested. Fish were maintained in a glass aquarium (8 and 2 L of water) with two levels of initial heterogeneity of weight: low and high, under two density cond...

Effect of Dietary α-Cellulose Levels on the Growth Parameters of Nile Tilapia Oreochromis niloticus Fingerlings

Three purified diets were formulated using fish meal, soya bean, wheat flour, palm oil, minerals and maltose. The carbohydrate in the diets was increased from 5 to 15% by changing the cellulose content to study the effect of dietary carbohydrate level on the growth parameters of Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus. The protein and the lipid contents were kept constant in all the diets. The resul...

Effect of Different Salinity Levels on Growth and Survival of Nile Tilapia (oreochromis Niloticus)

A three months study was conducted in cemented tanks (2.896ft×0.762ft×0.914ft) to investigate the effect of different salinity levels on growth performance and survival of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Four salinity levels i.e. 1600 ppm in Treatment 1 (TI), 2400 ppm in TII, 3200 ppm in TIII and 4000 ppm in TIV were maintained while in control (T0) the salinity level was 800 ppm. Each tr...

Effect of Different Levels of Dietary Supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on Growth Performance, Feed Utilization and Body Biochemical Composition of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Fingerlings

This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of dietary supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on growth performance, feed utilization and body biochemical composition of Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings. Four diets containing supplementation at levels of 0, 0.5, 1 and 2 g kg−1 were fed to fingerlings of Nile tilapia (5.01±0.21 g) in four replicate tanks twice ...

Extensive Net Cage Culture of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Fingerlings in Nutrient-enriched Pond

To investigate the potential of extensive net cage culture for Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fingerlings, an experiment was conducted in net cages suspended in a fertilized pond. Mixed-sex population of Nile tilapia with an average initial body weight of 0.065 g was used to stock in experimental cages. Four treatments; non added-substrate without supplemental feeding (NSNF), non added-su...
